1.1. The purpose of this Applications Privacy Statement is to inform you about the types of information we gather about you when interact with your Mobile Applications, how we may use that information, whether we disclose it to anyone, and the choices you have regarding our use of, and your ability to correct, that information.

2.  MOBILE APPLICATIONS COVERED BY THIS STATEMENT

This Privacy Statement covers the collection and use of data on the following corporate mobile applications used widely in Australia and New Zealand.

  1. IOS Storetrack Mobile Application
  2. Android Storetrack Mobile Application
  3. Android Crossmark Warehouse Application

 

3.   WHAT INFORMATION WE COLLECT

The information we collect on our applications generally falls into the following two categories: Personally Identifiable Information and Non-Personally Identifiable Information.

Personally Identifiable Information:
This refers to information that lets us know the specifics of who you are. The Personally Identifiable Information we collect when you use our apps may include your name, mailing address, phone number, precise location details, and e-mail address. We request Personally Identifiable Information when you correspond with us, fill out any forms, or participate on any off our apps to complete your daily work. It will be clear when you are on a part of our apps that requires personal information because we will ask you for it and you will have a choice about how we use that information.

Non-Personally Identifiable Information:
This refers to information that does not by itself identify a specific individual. The non-personally identifiable data we collect when you interact with our apps may include photos and text-based data sets.

Geo-Location Information:
We request access or permission to and track location-based information from your mobile device, either continuously or while you are using the Application, to provide location-based services. If you wish to change our access or permissions, you may do so in your device’s settings. This is a mandatory access to use specific applications like Storetrack which require your current GPs to provide you routes to your Jobs.

Mobile Device Access:
We may request access or permission to certain features from your mobile device, including your mobile device’s storage. This is a mandatory access to use our Mobile Applications because they rely on being able to save contents such as images taken while completing jobs locally and transmitting them over to our networks.

Mobile Device Data:
Device information such as your mobile device ID number, model, and manufacturer, version of your operating system, country, location, and any other data you choose to provide.

Push Notification:
We may request to send you push notifications regarding your account, workload, or the Application.

 4.  Why We Collect Your Information
Our primary goals in collecting information are to provide our employees in-field with customized work loads which is specific to their physical location and work preferences. Specifically, we may use information collected about you via the Application to:

  1. Create and manage your account
  2. Compile anonymous statistical data and analysis for use internally.
  3. Enable user-to-user communications.
  4. Increase the efficiency and operation of the Application.
  5. Request feedback and contact you about your use of the Application.
  6. Resolve disputes and troubleshoot problems.
  7. Provide customized work including forms which require data inputs ranging from text-based data sets to image, and other transactions related to the Application.
  8. Generate a personal profile about you to make future visits to the Application more personalized.
  9. Monitor and analyse usage and trends to improve your experience with the Application.
  10. Notify you of updates to the Application
  11. prevent fraudulent transactions, monitor against theft, and protect against criminal activity.
  12. Respond to product and customer service requests.

5.  How We Use Your Information
We gather and use information in a number of ways, including the following:

Interacting With Our Applications:
We collect certain Non-Personally Identifiable Information when you visit our apps. We collect this information to help run our apps more efficiently, to customize work loads across our different employees, their teams, and departments. 

Contact Information:
If you contact us, we may keep a record of your correspondence or comments, including Personally Identifiable Information, in a file specific to you. We use this information to help us provide better service in the event you contact us again.

Marketing 
We may use personal information collected from you to communicate with you about our products, services, offers and opportunities. You can opt out of marketing communications at any time by unsubscribing or contacting us to remove you from our marketing communications list.

6.  Sharing Your Information
We DO NOT sell, trade, or rent to others the Personally Identifiable Information we collect through our mobile Applications. Unless we have your permission, we will share the Personally Identifiable Information you provide only with other Crossmark entities and/or businesses that provide services to Crossmark and only for the purposes described above.

Where Crossmark engages third parties to perform services on our behalf, we will require them to observe the intent of this Applications Privacy Statement.

From time to time, we may be required to provide Personally Identifiable Information in response to a court order, subpoena, or government investigation. We also reserve the right to report to law enforcement agencies any activities that we in good faith believe to be unlawful. We may release certain Personally Identifiable Information when we believe that such release is reasonably necessary to enforce or apply our Terms and Conditions or to protect the rights, property, and safety of others and ourselves.

Our Applications, Storetrack or Crossmark Warehouse, or its related entities could merge with or be acquired by another business entity, or their respective assets could be acquired. Should such a combination or acquisition occur, you should expect that Crossmark would share some or all your Personally Identifiable Information to continue serving you and other users of our Site.

 7.  Your Choices
Crossmark WILL NOT use or share the Personally Identifiable Information collected on our Apps in ways unrelated to the purpose for which you provided the information, including those described above, without providing you a choice whether to permit any such unrelated uses. At the time you provide your information, we will offer you a choice as to whether you want to receive further communications about our services or other marketing messages. If you choose not to receive these communications, we will not use the information you provide for this purpose. If you change your mind and wish not to receive further marketing communications from Crossmark, let us know by emailing Corporate Communications and we will do all we can to honour your request.

 8.  Accessing and Changing Your Information
Crossmark seeks to ensure that your information and preferences are accurate and complete. If you have updated your personal profiles on the app to include your mobile phone and mailing address, you may access and change your information by visiting the profile page for the App. The Profile page includes several pages setup for you to customize your skill levels and general availability which will assist our office employees from providing you with work that is more personalized to your preferences. 

9. Use of Third-Party Media and Research Companies
Crossmark DOES NOT run third-party ads on our Mobile Applications. 

10.  Protecting Your Information
Crossmark acknowledges your trust and is committed to protecting the information you provide us. To prevent unauthorized access, maintain accuracy, and ensure proper use of information, we have employed physical, electronic, and managerial processes to safeguard and secure the information we collect through Crossmark Applications.

11.  Changes To This Statement
If there are changes or additions to the terms of this Mobile Applications Privacy Statement, we will post those changes here so that you will always know what information we collect online, how we use it, and what choices you have. Please be sure to check this page before proceeding to use our Page. Regardless of any changes we make to our Mobile Applications Privacy Statement, we will always use your Personally Identifiable Information in accordance with the version of the Statement in place at the time you provided your information, unless you give your express consent for us to do otherwise.
